Introducing:
New Muggatea Design!
The
art of drinking tea is over 2000 years old.
It extends the gamut of life from the peasant to the
priest. It was this fascination with the culture of
tea that lead me to read articles on China. One of these
articles told a story of an old man whose son would
bring him a few leaves of tea each morning. The old
man would then sit by a fire and place these leaves
into a small teapot, add hot water and then clutch the
pot in both hands to warm his body and sip the tea through
the spout to warm his soul. |
I
was so impressed with this story that I tried drinking
tea this way. I found the teapot too hot and I burned
my tongue with the hot tea. But I felt drinking tea this
way was important so to over come these problems I redesigned
the teapot. I placed the handle at a right angle to
the spout, I opened the spout and reshaped the end to
mimic the edge of a cup and then placed a filter in the
spout to stop the leaves from coming through. Further
revisions have brought us to develop the "Muggatea".

An
easy to use, attractive mug for loose tea brewing and
drinking. |
The
Muggatea cup is designed to deliver these benefits easily
and without fuss or mess of tea bags or strainers. Imagine
just one teaspoon of your favorite tea and hot water. You
will then enjoy the full flavor of a specialty blended tea.
You could even blend in your own flavors or when friends come
to visit each one will have their choice of a special blend.
After all who wants to pick a tea bag? |
